TriColby Gypsy Cobs Dreams Do Come True

The Mares of TriColby
When we look for a mare to add to our stud, first and foremost, they must have a great temperament. From there we look for correct conformation, quality and type. I like a nice solid mare with good legs and a beautiful head. I want a horse suitable for all disciplines - dressage, hacking, pony club, jumping, harness and anything else asked of them, and that's what we aim to breed.

Gcdu Julie Joe Rosebud
Sire: Iceman (Imp)
Dam: Buckley Babe (Imp)
12.3hh purebred Gypsy Cob
H2/H2

JJ is a lovely little bay/white mare. JJ is by Iceman (IMP) believed to be of John Pratt's Paddy Horse lines and out of Buckley Babe, a Lion King grandaughter. JJ consistently produces gorgeous foals with any of the stallions we have put her to. JJ is willing to give anything a go and rarely balks at a task. She is a very kind, special mare and not only the first mare to our stud, but a great addition to our stud.

Gywn Du Valley Mariah
Sire: Raintree Ranger
Dam: Southern Gypsies Rowan
13.1hh, Purebred Gypsy Cob.
H2/n
Penny, as she's known, has the most amazing quiet and trainable temperament. She makes friends where ever she goes. Penny has some incredible bloodlines behind her with the beautiful Clononeen Double Tumble and Jango Dancer of Brackenhill as her Grandsires. Penny has produced a couple of beautiful foals for TriColby and carries one copy of the H2 gene (small). Penny consistently produces quite small foals that are chunky and well put together.

Surrey Springs Squeak
Sire: Surrey Springs Armani
Dam: Kesali (Imp)
12.1-2hh, Purebred Gypsy Cob
H2/H2

When I went looking for a smaller mare to add to my breeding herd, I wanted a good shoulder, good legs and a deep bodied mare. That was the beginning of my shopping list. After viewing a selection of beautiful cobs around Australia I decided on Squeak as a yearling, I am so happy with my choice. She is put together really well, I can't fault her conformation and for the heavier breeding she will definitely bring some body to my breeding program, particularly with Ants.

Squeak has been successfully shown in hand and is a great asset to our stud.

Gypsian Sands Summer Cascade
Sire: Desert Jewel Flash's Gold As Ice (Imp)
Dam: Gypsian Sands Accolades Aurora
Est 13hh approx, Purebred Buckskin/White Gypsy Cob.
Summer came over all the way over from WA. I have always wanted a filly from Gold As Ice, I think he's a lovely stallion and I'm hoping to bring a little colour to my smaller breeding.

Summer is super friendly and very people orientated. We are looking forward to her contribution to our stud.

Jo Bray Kiss'n'Tell
Sire: The Galway Boy (Imp Ireland)
Dam: Smiths Merrylegs
12.2h approx, Purebred Gypsy Cob.
With my dream of breeding smaller sized cobs, I was eager to gain some smaller bloodlines. When Ellie became available, I jumped at the chance to gain a filly by The Galway Boy, a lovely small stallion imported from Ireland. Ellie incorporates the lines of Eathel Lee breeding, Mini Mouse, Billy Boy, Hugo Boss with Lion King, Clononeen Tumbleweed and Clononeen 007.

Ellie should be very well suited to Ants and Ace and produce some lovely small foals. Ellie carries one copy of the H2 (small) gene.

TriColby Enchantress
Sire: Windenvale Tiny Tim
Dam: Surrey Springs Squeak
Est 12hh approx, Purebred Gypsy Cob.
H2/H2
Tess is a sweet filly that is everything I hoped from Squeak and Tim. She is a mini me of mum with Tim's head and soft eye. She's a quick learner and enjoy pats and scratches.

Looking forward to her foals with Ants in the future.

TriColby Tumblebug
Sire: The Ants Pants (Imp)
Dam: Gywn Du Valley Mariah
Est 11.2-3hh approx, Purebred Gypsy Cob.
H2/n
Minnie is a cracker of a little filly with hair, bone, type and temperament. All the Ants foals have been a delight to handle, they are easy to train, friendly from birth and great examples of the breed.

Deekays Park Tinkerbell
Sire: Dalkara Park Hinto
Dam: Balnagown Lilac
10.1hh, Purebred Dun/White Shetland Pony
Tink will be adding some smaller partbred ponies to our breeding for kids ponies. I've always enjoyed the pony partbreds and Ants has been producing well to the outside mares. Tink is a sweet little girl who is happy to give pony rides and cuddles while looking after her babies.
